Together with partners Dr. Julio Sosa and Dr. Robert Forté, Dr. Alberto Aviles brings to his patients access to advanced reconstructive and aesthetic surgical services. Each begins with an initial consultation and full evaluation, so that patients understand all the options available, and gain the knowledge needed to make an informed medical decision. Throughout the process, the board-certified doctors of ASF Associates provide not only surgical expertise, but thorough and comprehensive care for the patient. Dr. Alberto J. Aviles
Alberto J. Aviles, MD is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who has had extensive training in a wide range of reconstructive and aesthetic surgical procedures. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed a general surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and a plastic surgery residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He is also fellowship-trained in hand and microsurgery from New York University Hospitals. Dr. Aviles is experienced in advanced reconstructive techniques and has contributed to several medical publications and journals throughout his career. He approaches each patient’s case with a thorough evaluation, and then takes the time and care to educate them, so that together they can make an informed medical decision with an understanding of the process and outcomes. Dr. Aviles has privileges as Providence Southfield, Providence Park and William Beaumont hospitals.
Dr. Robert A. Forté
For over three decades, Dr. Robert A. Forté has been practicing medicine and providing his patients with premium surgical care. With degrees in both dentistry and medicine and concentrations in oral, maxillofacial, craniofacial, and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Forté is a widely recognized specialist in surgeries pertaining to the face, neck and jaw. He has practiced medicine throughout Southeastern Michigan, and has performed surgery at Henry Ford and Providence Hospitals. He has served as the Chief of Plastic Surgery and a member of the Executive Committee of Surgeons at Providence. Dr. Forté has shared his invaluable years of surgical experience as a professor of plastic surgery at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Forte' has privileges at Providence Southfield, Providence Park and William Beaumont Hospitals.
Dr. Julio M. Sosa
Julio M. Sosa, M.D. performs a variety of aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. He completed a plastic surgery residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, under the direction of world renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Ian Jackson. He then completed an aesthetic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Manhattan, Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in New York City. His practice interests include aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, body contouring and aesthetic surgery of the head and neck. He is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has privileges at William Beaumont Hospital as well as Providence Hospital.
